Retouching

Retouching isn't just about making something "perfect". You have to make sure the viewer believes the image that's portrayed in front of them was a captured moment that was like that the entire time. They don't know that this one photo was actually taken from 200 different shots of the same angle. That the final shot is actually a composition of different photos, taking her leg from one photo and her head from another. Whether it's smoothing out wrinkles, concealing imperfections, or fine tuning the color balance and levels of a composition, retouching allows me to enhance images to attain the client's vision, even if sometimes the client is myself.
